Angular Contact Ball Bearings

SKF stocked. All major brands sourced. Fast quotes, competitive pricing, free shipping on online orders.

Angular Contact Bearing Types We Stock & Source

Single-row, double-row, and matched sets — standard and high-precision grades.

Single-Row Angular Contact (7200, 7300 Series)

The standard angular contact design. Contact angles of 15°, 25°, or 40° handle increasing axial-to-radial load ratios. Used in pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and general machinery where combined loads are present. 7200 series for lighter loads, 7300 for heavier.

CST Bearing Co. is an independent bearing supplier in Santa Ana, California, stocking angular contact ball bearings primarily from SKF. We also source all other major manufacturers when your application calls for a specific brand. Angular contacts are engineered for combined radial and axial loads. Whether you need a single-row 7200 for a pump rebuild or a matched pair for a machine tool spindle, we quote fast and ship faster.

Double-Row Angular Contact (3200, 3300 Series)
Matched Pairs & Sets (DB, DF, DT Arrangements)

Two rows of balls in a single unit that handles axial loads in both directions without needing a second bearing. Used where space is constrained and bidirectional thrust loads are present. Common in chemical processing equipment, pumps, and heavy industrial fans.

Factory-matched single-row bearings for precision applications. Back-to-back (DB) for moment rigidity, face-to-face (DF) for misalignment tolerance, tandem (DT) for shared thrust in one direction. Essential for machine tool spindles, precision indexing tables, and high-speed rotating equipment.

Precision & Super-Precision Grades

For applications requiring minimal runout and high-speed capability — CNC spindles, grinding spindles, turbomolecular pumps, and aerospace equipment.

High-Precision Angular Contact (P5, P4, P2 Grades)

Tighter tolerances for applications requiring minimal runout and high-speed capability. Used in CNC spindles, grinding spindles, turbomolecular pumps, and aerospace equipment. Available from SKF and other manufacturers in sealed and open configurations.

Choosing the Right Contact Angle

The contact angle determines the balance between radial and axial load capacity.

  • 15° (suffix C) — favors radial load capacity, highest speed ratings. Common in high-speed applications with moderate thrust.

  • 25° (suffix AC or E) — balanced radial and axial capacity. The most commonly specified contact angle for general industrial use.

  • 40° (suffix B) — favors axial load capacity. Common in applications with heavy thrust loads or predominantly axial loading.

SKF — Our Primary Stocked Brand

CST maintains ready stock of SKF angular contact ball bearings in the most common sizes and configurations. SKF is the world's most widely specified bearing brand, and for good reason: consistent quality, global availability, and the engineering data to back it up.

When you order SKF from CST, you're getting genuine SKF product at independent supplier pricing, not the markup you'd pay at an authorized distributor or big-box house.

Any Brand, Any Series — We Source It

Not married to SKF? No problem. CST is an independent supplier — we're not beholden to any single manufacturer. We source angular contact bearings from every major brand:

FAG (Schaeffler) — German-engineered, strong in spindle bearings and super-precision grades

NSK — Japanese precision, widely used in OEM and machine tool applications

NTN — Reliable mid-range option with broad availability

Nachi / Koyo — Japanese brands popular in machine tool and automotive-adjacent industrial

Generic / economy brands — cost-effective alternatives for less critical applications

Tell us the brand and part number. If it exists, we can get it.
